Meet James Manning

James Manning is the Author of several published books in the Military Adventure genre and is based in the Midlands (UK). James has been writing for over a decade, and takes inspiration from countryside adventures with family as well as a wide collection of fiction and non-fiction books. 

In James’ own words:

“I am a massive reader and book collector. I love all genres, but my favourite authors are Stephen King, Michael Crichton, Terry Pratchett and Bernard Cornwall. Their influence shows up in my writing and forms the backbone of my collection. As a reader, my main areas of interest are the sci-fi and techno-genres, so most of my work takes from this and is set in the future or the past.”
